Ronald A. Sjostedt, 76, of Holliston, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2023. Born in Waltham, he was the son of the late Viola (Jacobson) and Arthur Sjostedt. He was the husband of 47 years to Patricia (Coughlin) Sjostedt of Holliston.  

Ronald proudly served his country during the Vietnam War and was a Purple Heart recipient. He worked as a manufacturing manager for 35 years at Delta Design. After retirement, he worked part-time for 4 years as a machinist at Millibar. He was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Holliston and a daily reader of the Boston Globe. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, wordles, and reading.  

Besides his wife, Ron is survived by two children, Jeff MacLean and his wife, Tammy of Pelham, NH, and Ann Sjostedt and her husband, Andrew Tefft of Watertown. He also leaves behind his siblings, Penny Vidal and her late husband, John of Falmouth, and Richard Sjostedt and his partner Barbara Baron of Ashland; four grandchildren, Jack and Ella MacLean, Iris and Abel Tefft; as well as many nieces and nephews.  

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 16th from 10:30 a.m.- 12:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston. A funeral home service will follow at 12 noon. A private family burial at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ the King Lutheran Church, 600 Central St. Holliston, MA 01746.
