Robert Eastaugh, 85, of Newton Highlands, died Friday, August 15, 2008 at the Metrowest Medical Center in Natick. He was the husband of Vera Jean Eastaugh who passed in 1997.
He was a WWII Veteran who courageously served his country in North Africa and Italy. Robert was an avid fisherman who worked for over 37 years for the Town of Brookline.
He is survived by two sons, Thomas Eastaugh and his wife Susan and their daughters, Laura and Jennifer, all of Holliston., and Steven Eastaugh and his son Robert of Washington, D.C.
Calling hours will take place on Tuesday, August 19 from 4-7p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston (RT. 16) www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A Funeral Home Service will take place following calling hours, at 7:00p.m. with Military Honors.
