I am so sorry for this huge loss for all of the Hopkins family. I cannot think of another man so kind, honorable and dedicated to his family. He was such a familiar sight and presence at Brian and Jason’s sports activities. He was always a pleasure to talk with at games and family events. I am sure he left this world feeling that his work here was complete and so proud of the family he and Shirley created. Sending love and prayers to all of you. Janie Walters

Bob was my first boss out of college in 1982. I will always have fond memories of him. He taught me so many things that I am so grateful for. I was also fortunate to continue to see Bob every now and then at Chrysler dealerships after his retirement. He will always hold a special place in my heart. My deepest sympathy.

I agree with my brother (Alan)...this is a very, very sad day. Whenever I got \'back east\', (which was not often enough) we would have dinner at Ken\'s Steak House. I was hoping to see him again later this year. My thoughts are with Aunt Shirley and Randy and Garry. Uncle Bob will be missed by everyone.

Robert Hopkins is my Uncle. He called me just 2 weeks ago just to catch up and talk. We talk about 1 hour. I had no idea it would be the last time I would talk to him. He sounded great and said nothing bad about his health, said he was doing good. This is a sad day for sure. My condolences to my Aunt (Shirley) and my 2 cousins, Randy and Garry and their families. It is a great loss for everyone that knew him. He will be surely missed by all. Alan Hopkins

My sincere condolences to the Hopkins family. Randy was a friend and classmate, and I remember your dad allowing you to take me off-roaring in the Jeep. He was a wonderful man and dad.
