Richard and I were class mates and in 1964 he and Arthur Stuart came to my home on 11 East Main St. to help revive my 2 year old son from a heart attack. His compassion, comfort and care helped keep me calm, and they were able to revive him. Sorr y tay he passed away several months later, but I never for got the care and comfort Richard gave me. God has now called him home to be a firefigter/photographer in heaven. My yoy know I send my deepest sympathy on your loss. Richard was one of a kind.

I have known Richard for at least 25 years and he was a great friend. He taught me a lot about Photography and he was one of the best with his camera. Richard was also very knowledgeable on Fire Apparatus and he worked on them for most of his life. I will miss him. Rest in Peace my friend

Richard was a great friend. He taught me a lot about photography and I enjoyed all the times we went out and photographed fire apparatus together. We emailed every day and he made me laugh when life got me down. I enjoyed his friendship very much and will miss him terribly.
