Richard Gorham Nickerson “Nick”, 79, died Sunday, February 25, 2007 at Sunbridge in Milford. Born in Harwich, MA., he was the son of the late Ephrim Gorham and Elizabeth (Wardell) Nickerson. Wife to Barbara Nickerson.

He retired from the Borden Chemical Company in 1986 after a long and fruitful career in polymer chemistry.

Besides his loving wife Barbara (Harper) Nickerson of Bellingham, he leaves 3 daughters, Holly, Wendy and Susan, 2 stepchildren, Jerry and Philip Harper, 2 sisters, Alfreda and Betsy, and 4 grandchildren; Crystal, Caleb, James, Graham, and 1 great-grandchild Hunter Caraway. He was predeceased by his first wife, Eileen Tressler Nickerson, a stepson Danny Bagster Harper and a grandchild Brenden James Caraway.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 1st, at 11:00a.m. at the Congregational Church of Hopkinton. A reception will follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Congregational Church of Hopkinton, 146 East Main St. Hopkinton, MA. 01748
