Richard B. Trinque, 85, of Holliston, passed away peacefully at Metrowest Medical Center on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. Born and raised in Athol, he was the son of the late Stella (Kachinsky) and Bernard Trinque. He was the husband of 58 years to Denise (Duval) Trinque of Holliston.

Besides his wife, Richard is survived by two children, Derek Trinque and his wife, Heather. Jason Trinque and his wife Carmen Dinca. Grandchildren, Katherine, Jonathan and Christopher. He also leaves behind his brother, Robert Trinque and his wife, Cathy. His sister-in-law, Cynthia Trinque and preceded by his brother Ronald Trinque He will also be remembered by his many nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors and co-workers.

Richard loved being outdoors maintaining his yard. He took pleasure in playing cribbage at the Holliston Senior Center spending time with friends, loved all New England Sports teams and enjoyed traveling with his wife. In his high school days, he was an excellent basketball player. Most importantly, Richard cherished time spent with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 28th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 29th at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Church in Holliston. Burial will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
