Holliston –

Phyllis “Sue” (Locke) Lowry, 77 of Ashland and formerly a lifelong Holliston resident passed away peacefully at St. Patrick’s Manor in Framingham on Monday, November 25, 2013. She was a graduate of Holliston High School, attended Green Mountain College, VT and was a graduate of Chandler Secretarial School. She worked in the banking field for many years. She loved spending time with family and friends and especially loved spending winters in St. Louis with her daughter, which she did for many years.

She was the daughter of the late Frank E. and Ruth Locke, also lifelong Holliston residents. She was the sister of the late Frank R “Dick” Locke (Yvette) of Agawam and Cape Cod and the sister of the later John T “Jack” Locke (Gail) of Milford. She was the loving mother of Julie C. McCann of St.Louis, Missouri and Scott S. McCann of Columbus, Ohio. She also leaves four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many friends.

A private service will be held under the care of Chesmore Funeral Home on December 14, 2013. Donations may be made in her memory to St. Patrick’s Manor 863 Central St, Framingham, MA 01701.The family would like to thank the staff at St. Patrick’s Manor for their dedicated and loving care.
