Milford and formerly Holliston and Natick –

Phyllis G. Simm, 81, of Milford and formerly of Holliston, passed away Friday, March 27, 2020 at Metrowest Hospital in Framingham following a battle with Esophageal Cancer. Born in Watertown, she was the daughter of the late Ruth (Rich) and Theodore Langille. She was the beloved wife of 35 years to Russell A. Simm of Milford.

Phyllis was a 1957 graduate of Newton High School. She worked at Wightman Tennis Center in Weston for 40 years, of which some of those members became like extended family to Phyllis. She had a bookshelf full of cookbooks and enjoyed cooking and baking very much, and was especially known for her delicious apple pies. She really enjoyed time spent with family, especially her grandchildren.

Besides her husband, Phyllis is survived by two daughters, Debbie Freeman of Pocasset and Kimberly Bonadio and her husband, Michael of Waltham. She also leaves behind her brother, Gordon Langille and his wife, Barbara of Hampton Roads, VA; two nephews, Dennis and Randy Rich of FL; as well as 7 grandchildren, Michael, Brendan, Jesse, Chelsea, Lindsey, Brittany and Emiley, as well as 9 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son, Robert (Bobby) Blomberg, her siblings, Richard Langille and Hope Hammer, and her nephew, Ralphie Rich.

There will be no services held at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The Make a Wish Foundation, of which her grandson was a recipient of a wish in 1999. Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com
