Peter J. Patch, 71, of Holliston, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at his home. Born in White Plains, NY, he was the son of the late Bianca (Provvedi) and Richard Patch. He was the husband of Mary (Roszkowski) Patch of Holliston.
Former Partner, then President of M.L. McDonald Painting and Drywall, Peter was active member of the AGC and trustee for District Council 35. Peter was an avid golfer and member of Woodland Golf Club who also served on the advisory committee to Pinecrest Golf Course of Holliston. As a staunch advocate of the Second Amendment and member of the NRA, Peter enjoyed all forms of target shooting, especially Trap and Skeet. Peter owned and rode several motorcycles and attended many events put on by the Harley Owners Group, of which he was a member. Peter was a devoted Husband, Father, and Grandfather and enriched the loves of all who knew him.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Marc Patch of Framingham, Kandis Patch of North Carolina, and his daughter-in-law Lillian (Tromp) Patch of Rhode Island; two brothers, Todd Patch and his wife Suzanne of CA, Raymond Patch and his wife Dorothy of Peabody; a cousin, Peter Notch and his wife Barbara of NY; a great-uncle, Joe Sarafin, sister-in-law Michele Gall and her late husband Gordon; brother-in-law, Walter Roszkowski and his wife Margie all of CT. He also leaves behind a grandson, Jesse Lee Patch and his grand-dog, Sampson. He is predeceased by a brother-in-law, Stanley Roszkowski.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 17th from 1:00-3:30p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. A funeral home service will follow at 4:00p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Lung Assoc. 460 Totten Pond Rd #400, Waltham, MA 02451 or lung.org. A memorial service will be said in Peter’s name at 11:30a.m. on Sunday, July 13, 2014 at St. Mary’s Church in Holliston.
