Paul J. Meehan, 52, of Holliston, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2016 after a 19 year battle with a brain tumor.

Paul was a kind man with a gentle soul, who loved spending time at the Hopkinton Respite Center and was passionate about the Red Sox and Patriots. He enjoyed Foxwoods and was happiest scratching his pile of lottery tickets during his annual family birthday party at the Cape. Paul adored his cat Toby, was an enthusiastic bowler and looked forward each week to his time spent with Anna.

He is survived by his father, William J. Meehan, of Holliston: his sisters, Roberta Bouchard and her husband John of Bellingham, Brenda Rogers and her husband Jack of Orleans, Barbara Meehan and her wife Laurie Ford of Sunderland; his brothers, Kenneth Meehan and his wife Michel of North Reading, James Meehan and his wife Alicia of Barrington, RI, Thomas Meehan and his wife Dorothy of Jaffrey NH; his niece, Amanda Bouchard of Walpole MA; his nephews, Gregory Bouchard and his wife Anissa of Vienna, Austria, Matthew Meehan and his wife Lindsay Carvalho of Kirkland, WA, Patrick Meehan and his fiancée Patricia Pope of Oxford, MA, Daniel Rogers of Orleans, MA, Christopher Meehan of Tilton, NH and Nicholas Meehan of Bozeman, MT. Paul was predeceased by his mother, Marie (Gerrity) Meehan.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, November 15th from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com, followed by a Mass at St. Mary’s Church in Holliston at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Michael Lisnow Respite Center, 112 Main St, Hopkinton, MA 01748 or St. Mary’s Church, 8 Church Street, Holliston, MA 01746.
