Holliston-
Paul A. Carulli, 88, of Holliston, died peacefully at his home after a
long illness on Wednesday, May 3, 2006. Born and raised in the Bragville
section of Holliston, at the family homestead known as Balancing Rock, he
was the son of the late Benvenuta (Menzaghi) and Paul Carulli.

Mr. Carulli was co-owner with his brother of the Happy Swallow in
Framingham. He was in the US Army Air force and served in European Theater
during WWII. He enjoyed playing bridge, round and square dancing,
refinishing oak furniture, and enjoyed being with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Norma (Mangan) Carulli, 4
daughters, Lorraine M. Carulli and her husband Gary Ransom of Sarasota,
FL., Barbara A. Carulli and her husband Thomas Masterton of Leverett, MA.,
Paula J. Davitt and her husband Richard of Belchertown, MA., and Catherine
A. Carulli of Sunderland, MA. He also leaves 6 grandchildren, Tanya
Carulli, Jesse Ransom, Venuta Carulli, Eli Masterton, Brendan Davitt, and
Anna Davitt.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 5, from 5-8p.m. at the Chesmore
Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. (Rt. 16). A funeral service
will be held on Saturday, May 6, at 10:00a.m. at St. Mary’s Church of
Holliston. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Donations may be
made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA.
