Patricia Anne (Trisha) Donovan, 71, of Holliston, MA, died peacefully Wednesday, June 14, 2017. She was born on November 26, 1945, in Teaneck, New Jersey, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Morano, and second youngest of five siblings, including elder sisters Madeline, Agnes, and Mary Elizabeth and younger brother, Robert.

Trisha attended Notre Dame Academy in Worcester, Massachusetts, graduating valedictorian of her class in 1963. She attended St. Michael’s College at the University of Toronto, majoring in Math and graduating fourth in her class in 1967. Returning to the U.S. after college, she worked as a Systems Engineer at IBM where she met and later married John F. (Jack) Donovan. She worked in Systems for many years in addition to successfully running her own business, Donovan Associates. She was extremely talented in her many endeavors including playing piano, knitting and crocheting, and playing bridge, where she obtained the coveted Life Master title. Trisha was loving, brilliant, warm, social, easygoing and accepting. She loved music, reading, traveling, spending time with her family and friends, spending time on Cape Cod, and especially loved visiting with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Jack Donovan of Holliston, MA; three children, John (Jaclyn) Donovan of San Francisco, CA, Laura (Greg) Lewis of Franklin, MA, and Matthew (Melissa) Donovan of Brooklyn, New York; four grandchildren, Graham Donovan, Rowan Donovan, Meredith Lewis, and Kian Donovan; one brother, Robert (Susan) Morano of Irvine, CA, one sister, Mary Elizabeth (Joe) LeClair of Brooksville, Florida, and many loving nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 2nd at 1:00p.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Holliston. Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com
