Patricia Ann (Marino)Lawler “Pat” 74, of Randolph Twp., passed peacefully on March 27th in Wayland, MA. Pat was born in Brooklyn, NY and was a graduate of Bay Ridge High School and the Packer Collegiate Institute.
After moving to NJ in 1963, she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from William Paterson University and a Master of Education from Montclair State University. Pat resided in Randolph for over 40 years.
An accomplished ballerina in her youth and artist as an adult, Pat taught art in the Hopatcong Borough school district for 30 years. Following her retirement, she worked at her art studio and taught at Sussex County Community College.
She loved gardening, cooking, movies, ballet and the beach.
Daughter of the late Frank & Marie Marino, Pat is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Hall (Brian) of Hopkinton, MA, her son Stephen Lawler (Tina) of England and her brother Francis J. Marino (Shelly) of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. She has 3 grandchildren, Danielle Hall, Lindsay Hall and Rupert Lawler-Broad.
Memorial donations may be made to the Packer Collegiate Institute at www.packer.edu or the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville NJ.
A celebration of Pat’s life will take place in Brooklyn, NY at a later date.
