Dearest Dottie and all the family, These times are so rough. So painful. Family means everything and you and Norm sure knew how to be with family. I treasure the times that I have covered the miles between us and was able to see you at various family celebrations. I remember visiting you all up in Maine. Norm broke out the croquet and boy or boy did we have fun shooting toward the wickets. The rocky land between the house and the water’s edge was the challenge and separated, our skill abilities very quickly. That was the most fun game of croquet I ever played in my life. We could blame every mistake on a small boulder between mallet and wicket. We laughed and laughed. Such a grand time was had by all… the talking, the boat rides, the swimming, the croquet and Dottie’s food. Cousins were everything and everywhere. My mom and dad, Will and Doris Evans, loved you very much. They surely kept the Ohio cousins aware of family and love and the importance of of family, no matter the miles of separation. We love you all, forever and ever. Carol (Callie)Evans-Clark- Darbyshire

There’s never a good time to say goodbye to those that we love. I have nothing but fond memories of Mr. Clark. He always greeted me happily and was a parent that was easy for us to be around. He demonstrated to me what a friend’s parent should look like, kind and thoughtful. You are all in my thoughts and prayers as you mourn the loss of your beloved dad and grandpa.
