Norma Marie (Mangan) Carulli, formerly of Holliston, MA, died peacefully on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at home with her daughter, in Sunderland, MA where she had lived for the past 2.5 years. She was the beloved wife of Paul A. Carulli, who predeceased her in May 2006, after a marraige of almost 60 years. She was the daughter of the late Catherine (Roche) and Francis E. Mangan.

Norma was raised in Ashland, MA along with her four siblings. She is survived by two of her siblings, Shirley Lundgren of Punta Gorda, Fla and John Mangan of Ashland, MA, as well as four children, Lorraine Carulli and her husband Gary Ransom of Dubai, UAE, Barbara Carulli, and her husband Thomas Masterton of Leverett, MA, Paula Davitt, and her husband Richard of Ware, MA, and Cate Carulli married to Linda Sinapi of Sunderland, MA. She also leaves behind six grandchildren Brendon Davitt of Berlin MA, engaged to Jessica Arsenault, Venuta Carulli, of Washington DC, married to John Larsen, Tanya Carulli of Arlington, VA, married to Carlos Perez Lopez, Anna Davitt of NY, NY, married to Rhys Warburton, Eli Masterton of Roslindale, engaged to Allegra Clark, Jesse Ransom, of Orange , California and one Great-Grandchild: Kai Mangan Larsen(of Washington DC). She is predeceased by two siblings, Francis E. Mangan, Robert Mangan.

Norma was well-loved by many people throughout her lifetime; family, friends old and new and neighbors. She enjoyed many activities, some shared with her husband, such as playing bridge and dancing, and some with her female friends, such as singing in a chorus and bowling. She also was a talented seamstress, an excellent baker, grew and maintained beautiful flower gardens, wrote poetry, and volunteered for charitable causes. She was a woman of many talents, the greatest of which was her gift for passing on to her children and grandchildren her passion for life and loyalty and love for family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 2, 2013 from 4:00-7:00 pm at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10:30 am in Saint Mary’s Church in Holliston with burial following in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 0170 or Hospice of Franklin County 329 Conway St, Suite 2, Greenfield, MA 01301.
