Holliston-

Nathalie G. Wood, 85, beloved wife, daughter, mother and grandmother, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at the Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital. Born in Milford, January 19, 1923, to the late Harry and Esther Goldstein, Nathalie married her high school sweetheart, George William Wood in Baltimore, Maryland on June 13, 1944 while both were on leave from the armed forces.

She was a member of the Navy Waves during WWII. After the war, George and Nathalie made a loving home for their family in Holliston. Nathalie worked for the Town of Holliston in many capacities, including the Police and Fire department dispatching, and in the Town Hall, until retiring. After retiring, Nathalie was active in the Holliston Senior Center and spent many years as its treasurer.

She is survived by her loving husband, George, her three children, Bonnie Bradford and her husband Richard Sawash, Harry Wood and his wife Ann Prete, Randy Wood and his wife Susan, along with three grandchildren, Charles Ryan Wood, George Wood, and Alexander Wood. She also leaves her faithful dog and companion, Buster.

A funeral service with Rev. Batten will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2008 in the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St. (Rt. 16) Holliston, at 2:00p.m. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12pm-2pm.
