Nancy Fayard, 78, of Hopkinton, passed away Friday, March 8, 2013 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Eva (Horton) Madden. She was the wife of 58 years to Robert Fayard of Hopkinton.

Nancy worked as a secretary at the Congregational Church of Hopkinton for 10 years. She was also a secretary for Soot Busters and enjoyed sewing and quilting.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Robert L. Fayard Jr. of Woonsocket, Cheryl Fayard of Washington State; 9 grandchildren, Robert III, Krystie, Samantha, Hannah, Seth, Donald, Kelly, John, Kati and 3 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 14, from 4-7p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Hopkinton, 57 Hayden Rowe St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com Burial will take place on Friday at 9:00a.m. at the Bourne National Cemetery, followed by a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. at Faith Community Church of Hopkinton.
