Holliston-

Mildred Ruth Selent, 88, of Holliston, died peacefully at the Holliston Manor Nursing Home on Wednesday, March 21, 2007. Born in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Mary Agnes (Sullivan) and Earl Scott Flanders. She was the wife of the late James Selent who passed in 1998.

A longtime Holliston resident, she was a member of St. Mary’s Church.

She is survived by 3 sons, David Selent and his wife Marcia of Holliston, Paul Selent and his wife Gail of Baton Rouge, LA., and John Selent and his wife Freda of Milford, 1 daughter, Carol Samuelson and her husband John of Jamestown, NY. She also leaves 6 grandchildren, Cheryl, David, Jimmy, Patrick, James, William, and 4 great-grandchildren, Megan, Joshua, Alexis and Jordan. She is predeceased by 1 daughter, Judith Sullivan who passed in 1975, 2 brothers, Milton and Donald Flanders, and 1 sister, Eileen Forget.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, March 25, from 2:00-5:00p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. (RT. 16) www.chesmorefuneralhome.com A funeral mass will take place on Monday, March 26 at 10:00a.m. at St. Mary’s Church in Holliston.
