Michael Peter Koshivas, 59, of Holliston died at his home suddenly on Monday August 13, 2007. Born in Natick, he was the son of the late Peter and Katherine (Xydis) Koshivas.

A lifelong resident of Holliston and the Vice President of his graduating class of 1966, He was a local farmer who owned and operated Arcadian Farm. Mike had also been a Chairman on the Town of Holliston Agricultural Commission and a member of the Farm Bureau and a long time member of Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox church in Weston.

Mike is survived by his 2 sons; Peter and Michael Koshivas of Holliston, Jane Derrick of Holliston, 3 brothers; Peter of Holliston, Denny of Satellite Beach, FL, and Dean Koshivas and his wife Debra of Holliston. He also leaves cousins Claire Crones, Elaine Dranakis, Elaine Jeon, many nieces and nephews and his former wife, Nancy (Washer) Koshivas of Milford.

Visitation hours will be on Thursday August 16, 2007 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston 854 Washington St., (Rt. 16) Holliston. www.chesmorefuneralhome.com A funeral mass will be on Friday at 10:00 am in St Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church 57 Brown St., Weston, MA. There will also be visitation at the church from 9 to 10 prior to the funeral. Burial will follow in the family lot in Lake Grove Cemetery in Holliston.
