Holliston-

Michael Joseph Bowles Jr., 61, of Holliston, passed away Saturday, June 3, 2017. Born in Cambridge, he was the son of Margaret (Fraser) Bowles of Holliston and the late Michael J. Bowles Sr.

Michael was a graduate of the University of Arizona. He helped Native American’s with their land rites.He was responsible for forming a group that went to visit prisoners to help get their lives on track. He loved his visits to the state of Arizona.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his brother, Larry Bowles and his wife Karen of Holliston, his nephews, Robert Bowles of Boston and Mark Bowles of Holliston; he also leaves behind his large extended family.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, June 16th at 9:00a.m. at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mass General Liver Transplant Center, giving.massgeneral.org/donate/ or to Timothy Daniels Activities Fund, 84 Elm St. Holliston, MA 01746.
