I am so very saddened to hear of the passing of Mike. I proudly served with him on the USS Roark F-1053 for many years. He was an Ensign and I was Third Class boatswainsmate. He eventually made LCDR and I First Class. We then parted ways and moved on and I tried to find him, but was never able to relocate him. He was not only an excellent shipmate, but an awesome friend and person. He would never fail to lend an ear and help you! I loved him dearly! He was alway the light of any function he attended. The world lost a very special person. My sincere condolences to all of his family and friends. RIP my dear friend and the memories of you will always hold a special place in my heart!

I am saddened to hear of Mike’s passing. I hired Mike after his retirement from the Navy. He was one of my best ‘Hires” and assigned to the USS Zumwalt program which he took to like a fish to water. His experience and awesome attitude were remarkable as he continued to support both the Navy as well as Raytheon through much of his time here. Mike was always available to assist others in a positive proactive manner and will be missed by all that knew him. Thank you and prayers to his family.
