Holliston-

Maurice L. Connors Jr, 74, of Holliston, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 at his home. Born in Washington, D.C., he was the son of the late Agnes (Shanley) and Maurice L. Connors Sr. He was the husband of 51 years to Mary Frances (Thorn) Connors of Holliston.

A member of the Army National Guard, Maurice was also a member of the American Legion in Milford. He had worked at Honeywell 3C Division,  Data General and Metrowest Hospital.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Kimberly Birch and her former husband Mark, of Bellingham, Katherine Eldridge and her husband, Lonnie of Louisville, KY, and Edward Connors and his wife, Julie of Hopedale. He also leaves behind a sister, Anne Connors of Andover as well as four grandsons, two granddaughters and is predeceased by one granddaughter, Kaitlyn Hardy.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 11th from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. (Rt. 16) www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, March 12th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston. A private burial at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Lowell will follow at a later date. Flowers are appreciated, or donations may be made in Maurice’s memory to Seasons Hospice, 1 Edgewater Dr. Norwood, MA 02062.
