Franklin – Maureen Regina (Jordan) Hamlet, 45, died December 31, 2005 at
Milford Hospital following a brief illness.
Born in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of the late John J. Jordan
and Maureen A. (Kelleher) Jordan of Holliston.
Mrs. Hamlet was a former resident of Bellingham and Holliston prior to moving
to Franklin.
She was a graduate of Holliston High School, class of 1978. Mrs. Hamlet was
a homemaker for many years following which she worked for the Town of Franklin
and most recently was a project coordinator for several construction
companies in the area.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her former husband, Matthew Hamlet of
Bellingham; children, Jessica Marie Hamlet, Rory Daniel Hamlet and Kevin
William Hamlet, all of Bellingham; brother, Brian Jordan of Holliston; sister,
Gerri Keefe and her husband Brian of Holliston; sisters-in-law and
brothers-in-law, Susan Nickerson and her husband, Dennis, of Medway, Jon Hamlet of
Holliston,
Mark Hamlet of California, Linda Larson and her husband, David, of Milford;
nieces and nephews, Brian, Matthew, Jordan and Taylor Keefe, all of Holliston,
Lyndsey, Laura and Lane Nickerson, all of Medway, Casey and Beth Hamlet of
California, and Kim Patterson, David and Michael Larson of Milford; special
aunts, uncles and cousins from New York, Florida and California; especially uncle
Tom Kelleher and aunt Kay McCormack; and many special friends from Franklin and
Bellingham.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, January 5, at 10:00
a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, Washington St., Holliston. Burial will follow in
St. Mary’s Parish Cemetery in Holliston.
Calling hours, at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington Street, Routes 16
& 126, Holliston, www.chesmorefuneralhome.com, will be Wednesday from 4:00 –
7:00 p.m.
