Hopkinton – Maureen E. Cunningham, 74, died Saturday, March 26, 2005 at
the Milford Regional Hospital.
She was the wife of the late Almon “Sid” Cunningham who died in 1983.
Born in Holliston, she was the daughter of the late Erick and Marion
(Bradley) Hilliard.
A longtime resident of Hopkinton, Mrs. Cunningham had enjoyed the
activities of the Brampton Circle Club at the Hopkinton Senior Housing
Authority, she also enjoyed cooking, bird watching, gardening and knitting.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph A. Hampson of Waterville, ME, Mark A.
Hampson and his wife, Susan, of Leesburg, Georgia, Kevin F. Hampson and
his wife, Carole, of Mendon, and Shawn P. Cunningham of Cape Cod; her
brother, Vincent J. Hilliard of Framingham; her sister, Irene Sutherland of
Holliston; and nine grandchildren. She was the sister of the late George
Hilliard and Reginia Couture.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, March 30th at
10:00 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Church, Church St., Hopkinton. Burial
will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Hopkinton. Calling hours will be held
Tuesday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 57 Hayden
