Mary Lou Ferriero, 74 of Holliston, passed away at her home on Thursday, October 5, 2023. Born and raised in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Julia (Cichy) and Albert Bardar. She was the wife of 52 years to John R. Ferriero of Holliston. 

Mary Lou enjoyed planting flowers both at home and at the Fatima Shrine in Holliston. She also held an interest in national political activities.

Besides her husband, Mary Lou is survived by two children, Michelle Foley and Michael Ferriero. She also leaves behind her grandson, Ryan Foley; sister-in-law, Peggy, and brothers-in-law, Tom, Robert, and Richard. She is predeceased by her brother, Albert.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 18th at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Mary’s Church of Holliston. Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael Lisnow Respite Center, 112 Main St. Hopkinton, MA 01748
