Mary Johnson Clark 70, a lifetime Hopkinton resident and wife of Robert G. Clark, found eternal peace while in the loving care of her husband, family, CNA, and Hospice. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Marion Johnson.

Mary’s warm gentle manner was a special gift she shared with everyone. Her love for family and friends remained forever enduring. Mary’s fortitude in her battle with cancer demonstrated her zest for life and an inner toughness that could only be admired. Mary believed the most precious gift in life is family. She especially enjoyed both watching and time spent with all the grandchildren growing up, and her winter home in Florida. She worked for the Hopkinton Police Department for 10 years and various administrative positions in the private sector.

She is survived by her three sons, Timothy Wright and his wife Debbie(Adams); Gregory Wright and his wife Bonnie(Robbins); Kevin Wright and his wife Maureen(Walsh); six grandchildren; sisters, Sandra Fairbanks and husband Bob, Janice Copithorne and husband Jim; and her brother Frank Johnson and his wife Margie(Langdon). Her extended family, daughters in law, Elisabeth Martin, Suzanne Lindros and husband Wayne, Pamela Dolaher and husband Frank, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her former husband George Wright of Hopkinton.

Visitation will be held on Sunday January 9, 2011 from 4 to 7pm at the Chesmore Funeral home of Hopkinton, 57 Haden Rowe St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com.
