Holliston-

Mary Jane Castelli, 76, of Gardner and formerly of Holliston, passed away Friday, June 13, 2014 at her home. Born in Portland, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Ruth and Charles J. Phillips. She was the wife of Roger R. Castelli of Gardner.

Mary Jane loved to garden, swim in her pool and have family cookouts. She also loved vacationing in Rye, N.H., where she spent most of her time swimming in the ocean at Wallis Sands. She retired from WA Wilde in Holliston, where she had worked as a receptionist for 20 yrs.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter Linda J Castelli & her partner John P. Johnson of Hopedale, a son, Mark and his wife Tina Castelli of Milford, grandson, Zak J Castelli of Uxbridge, Stepdaughter, Diane Manning of Upton, her sister Norma Knepp of Nottingham, MD. and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th from 11am-1pm at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston. A funeral service will follow at 1:00p.m. A mass in her name will be said on Sunday, September 21st at 11:30a.m. in St. Mary’s Church.
