MCDONOUGH, Ga. – Mary H. Snodgrass, 70, of McDonough Ga., formerly of Holliston, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2006.
She was the wife of the late Malcolm N. Snodgrass.
Born in South Dakota and raised in Anderson, Ind., daughter of the late Raymond and Phyllis (Cutter) Hopfner, she had lived in Holliston for many years, only recently relocating to Georgia.
She worked as a registered nurse prior to retirement after spending many years teaching at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Framingham Union Hospital Schools of Nursing.
Mrs. Snodgrass was an ardent and loyal fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and the Boston Celtics for many years.
She leaves her only child, Julie Gorden and her husband, David; two granddaughters, Sarah and Rachel Gorden, all of Medway; and many close friends and family in Massachusetts, Indiana and Georgia.
The family will have a private burial in Lake Grove Cemetery at a later date.
Visiting hors are Thursday, Dec. 14, from 5 to 8 p.m., at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St., Holliston.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association, Stroke Division, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701
