Holliston-

Mary Elizabeth (Finn) Gerrior, 81, of Holliston, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Sunrise of Wayland. Born in Holliston, she was the daughter of the late Susan (Hilliard) and Raymond L. Finn. She was the wife of 48 years to George E. Gerrior who passed away in 2017.

A lifelong Holliston resident, Mary was a graduate of Holliston High School and Massachusetts College of Art. Mary enjoyed many things related to art and especially took pleasure in sewing, gardening, painting and drawing, jazz music, and cooking. She was a regular communicant at St. Mary’s Church in Holliston and lived with Parkinson’s Disease for 20 years.

Mary is survived by three children, Mary Beth Cheever and her husband, Brendan of Framingham, George E. Gerrior Jr. and Edward S. Gerrior both of Holliston; 3 step-children, Michelle MacDonald and her husband, Aron Johnston of Nashua, NH, Lori-Ann Strachan and her husband, Scott of Wrentham, and Lisa M. Harwell of Marlborough. She also leaves behind her siblings, Christine Hamm, Richard Finn both of Holliston, Charlie Finn and his wife, Cheryl of Uxbridge, and Sue Oldfield and her husband, John of Upton; 8 grandchildren, Jeffrey Majeau, Joseph Bibbo Jr, Jennifer Charette, Vanessa, Keith, and Ciara Harwell, Donovan and James Cheever, as well as 5 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brothers, Raymond and Joe Finn and her grandson, Andrew Bibbo USN 2007.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 5th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 6th at 11:00 a.m.  at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Baypath Humane Society, Nashoba Learning Group, or Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.
