Holliston-

Martin A. Nitzsche, 84, of Holliston, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017. Born in Illinois, he was the son of the late Evelyn (Palmer) and Albert Nitzsche. He was the husband of the late Delia (Johnson) Nitzsche.

Martin was a Veteran of the US Navy. He was a Masonic Mason Member since 1968 and a past master. He was also a member of the Franklin Elks and the Ashland American Legion. He enjoyed retirement from the tool and die trade and spending time with his grandchildren and helping others.

He is survived by his four children, Dawn Miller of Holliston, Brenda Maloney and her husband Jeff of Franklin, Dan Nitzsche and his wife Bea von Hagke of Deerfield, and Bryan Nitzsche and his wife Stella. He also leaves behind three sisters, Althea Peterson of WI, Rixie Mueller of TX, Sheila Johnson of Washington State; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by a brother William Nitzsche of Kansas City.
