Holliston-

Marjorie V. Higgins, 84, of Holliston, died Monday, September 24, 2007 at the Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham. Born in Sparta, WI., she was the daughter of the late Roscoe and Velma (Kelsey) Fish. She was the wife of Robert Higgins of Holliston, to whom she married in Sparta, WI., on June 19, 1946.

She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Holliston.

Besides her husband of 61 years, she leaves her four children, Thomas Higgins of Holliston, James Higgins of York Beach, ME., Gary Higgins and his wife Jane of Osterville, MA., and Susan and her husband Steven MacDonald of Holliston. She also leaves her brother Donald Fish and his wife Ione of Tomah, WI., and her sister Janet Carroll and her husband Jimmie of Leon, WI. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Phyliss and Harriet and two infant brothers, a grandson William Higgins.

Visitation hours will take place on Thursday, September 27, 2007 from 4:00-8:00p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. (RT. 16). www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home at 11:00a.m. on Friday, September 28, 2007. With Rev. David Fountain. Burial will follow in Lake Grove Cemetery of Holliston.
