Marjorie (Kelley) Richardson Fennessey, 76, of North Fort Myers, Florida, (formerly of Braintree), died Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at her daughter’s home in Holliston.

She was the wife of Edward J. Fennessey Sr. for 20 years and the wife of Howard D. Richardson of Bellingham for 34 years. Born in Wakefield, she was the daughter of the late L. Dorothy and George Kelley.

She graduated from Wakefield High School and Goddard College and received her MSW from Boston University at the age of 60. She worked as a Bellingham bus driver for many years and as a clinical social worker at Family Counseling and Guidance in Braintree. An animal lover, she enjoyed time with friends and family and walks on the beach.

Besides her husband she leaves her sisters, Betty White of Reading, and Barbara Hackett of Osprey, FL and a brother, Gordon Kelley of Wakefield; daughter Robin L. Richardson of Haverhill; daughter Kelli Richardson and son-in-law Bill Dowd and grandchildren, Emily, Samuel, Christopher and Meredith of Holliston; daughter Sandra Sullivan and son-in-law Dan and grandchildren, Adam, Kelley-Lyn and Rebekah of Franklin; and her son, Howard D. Richardson and grandson, Howard D. Richardson III of Graham, Washington; her husband’s children Terry Fennessey and grandchildren, William and Rose of Virginia; Ed Fennessey Jr. and wife, Michelle and grandchildren Eddie and Molly; Donna Fennessey of Quincy; and Gary Fennessey and wife Kim and grandson, Ryan of Canton; and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Friday 6-8 pm and a memorial service will be Saturday at 11 am, at Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St. Holliston, MA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her memory to: The Amyloid Research Fund, 715 Albany St, K503, Boston, MA 02118
