Falmouth?
Marjorie Jane (Reichenberg) Lyons, 89 of Falmouth, formerly of Bourne and Holliston, MA passed away peacefully on April 22, 2014 at Heritage of Falmouth Assisted Living after a brief illness. She was the treasured wife of the late Thomas A. Lyons.

Born in Taunton, the daughter of Chester and Louise Reichenberg, Marge will be remembered for her beautiful singing voice. Considered the epitome of a lady, she will also be remembered for her grace and beauty.

Marge was a lifetime member of the Holliston Historical Society. She was also a member of Friendly Aid, Eastern Star, and the Holliston Women’s Club. Once she and her husband Tom moved to their canal-side home in Bourne, Marge served as a docent at the Sandwich Glass Museum, and at the Bourne Historical Society where she spent many hours volunteering at the Aptucxet Windmill Gift Shop. She was also very active in the Aptucxet Garden Club and she took great pleasure in making seasonal changes to the window boxes at her local post office. A favorite past time for Marge was taking pictures of the many ships that passed by her windows. She also enjoyed crossword and jigsaw puzzles and embellishing their annual Christmas cards.

In addition to her late husband, Marjorie is survived by her loving children Tom Lyons and his wife Sally, Donna Maiocca, Dennis Lyons and his wife Jan, Beth Wills and her husband Don, and Susan Lewis and her husband Gregg. Marge “Nino” is also survived by her adoring grandchildren: Christopher Maiocca, Jennifer O’Connell, Elizabeth Horne, David Lyons, Tom Lyons, Julie Joncas, Ashley Wills, Sarah and Emily Lewis, and eight great-grandchildren.

Marjorie was the sister of Kenneth Reichenberg of Taunton and the late William, Clayton, and Frank Reichenberg. She also leaves her sister-in-law Bette Faherty of West Roxbury.

Burial will be private. All are welcome to join in a Service of Remembrance on Saturday, May 17th at 10:30 AM at the First Congregational Church. 725 Washington Street, Holliston, MA. To honor Marge, donations may be made in her name to the Holliston Historical Society, 547 Washington Street, Holliston, MA 01746 or the Cataumet Methodist Church, 1091 County Road, Cataumet, MA 02534 or Citizens Scholarship Foundation of Holliston, PO Box 6786 Holliston, MA 01746
