Danvers –

Marjorie Anne Clark, 78, of Danvers and a former longtime resident of Holliston, passed away on Wednesday, September 28th, at Hathorne Hill Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Danvers. Born in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Miriam (Burgess) and Everett Clark.

Marjorie was raised and educated in West Bridgewater.  She was a graduate of West Bridgewater High School and Rhode Island School of Design.  Marjorie was employed as a graphic artist for much of her career working with various corporations.

Marjorie enjoyed working on home renovation projects at her home in Holliston, which she was most proud of. She also enjoyed sewing, sketching, reading, and spending time with friends. Marjorie also looked forward to family get-togethers and spending time with family on holidays.

Marjorie is survived by her siblings, Arthur Clark and his wife, Miriam, of Tewksbury, and Nancy Vera Clark of Rhode Island.  She also leaves behind 3 nieces, Stephanie Muse, Melissa Simpson, and Kristen Shine as well as five grandnieces and grandnephews.

The Clark family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Hathorne Hill Rehabilitation and Nursing Center as well as Care Dimensions Hospice for the compassionate care they provided for Marjorie.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 11th, at 10:30 AM at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St.  Family and friends are welcome to attend. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
