Upton –
Marion Walker Doren, 78, of Upton formerly of Charleston, SC died Thursday October 26, 2006 at St. Camillus Health Center in Northbridge. Born in Glen Ridge, NJ she was the daughter of the late Robert and Marion (Lockwood)Walker and wife to the late George Victor Doren who passed away in 1999.

A former member of the Framingham Unitarian Church for 15 years, Marion had also been an Elementary School teacher for the 4th grade in Southborough and Marlborough and then later retired to Charleston, SC. She was also a published author of 4 Novels with “Borrowed Summer” winning the Christopher Award and was a member of the P.E.N. Women.

She is survived by 2 sons: Martin V. Doren of Folly Beach, SC, Keith D. Doren of Scio, Ohio, 2 daughters; Anne L. Krupsky and her husband Wayne E. of Ipswich, Lauri M. Butler and her husband Jim of Upton, 1 brother; Robert Walker of Farmersville, TX. 4 grandchildren Ashley and Danielle Doren and Marc Krupsky and Christopher Camillucci. She is predeceased by a brother Donald Walker and a sister Sandra Moscowitz.
