Marilyn L. (Kelley) Marston, 67, of Holliston, passed away December 7, 2017. Born in Milford, she was the daughter of the late John G. and Marjorie (Elliott) Kelley. She was the dearly beloved wife of 46 yrs to Paul Marston, and was the mother of Holloway N. Marston and John G. Marston, all of whom she loved beyond measure.
Marilyn was known for her selflessness, devotion to family, her integrity and her compassion for the underdog. She was loved by all who knew her and she maintained lifelong friendships. She was a voracious reader, which brought her great comfort during her illness. She graduated from UMass Boston with a degree in English Literature and completed a paralegal program while there. For the past 30 yrs she has worked as a real estate appraiser; most recently she held the position of Appraisal Reviewer for Santander Bank.
Marilyn was the beloved sister of Thomas G. (Marie) Kelley, Timothy J. (John DeMar) Kelley and Noel Kelley (Charles) Ratto. She also leaves brothers-in-law John, Albert and James Marston, as well as the late Mark Marston. She was predeceased by her cherished and adored 6 mo. old granddaughter, Sadie L. Marston.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 11th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. (Rt. 16). A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 12th at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Zofia Piotrowska, Dr. Lecia Sequist and Dr. Jeffrey Engelman, oncologists at MGH, for their dedication in caring for Marilyn.
