Holliston-

Marilyn J. Walenski, 87, of Holliston, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021. Born in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Eva (Danforth) and Joseph Watson. She was the wife of 68 years to Francis E. Walenski. 


Marilyn was artistic and musical, enjoying painting, playing the piano and was accomplished in knitting and sewing. She was employed in banking for many years between raising her family.


Marilyn is survived by her devoted husband, Francis and three children, Jean McNamara and her husband, Bob  of North Easton, John Walenski and his wife, Tyna of Ashland, and Mary Ann Rodesiler and husband, Scott of  Mooresville, NC. She also leaves behind five grandchildren, Krista, Jenna, Bobby, Camryn, Sean and her great-granddaughter, Alexandra.


Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 19th from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St.  Following visitation, a service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lake Grove Cemetery, Holliston. A mass in Marilyn’s name will be said at Saint Mary’s Church of Holliston on Sunday, September 26th at 9:30 a.m.
