Marilyn Ann Guerin, 77, of Worcester, passed away at UMass Medical Center in Worcester on Friday, March 4, 2022. Born in Holden, she was the daughter of the late Helen (Wilson) and Elmer H. Blum. She was the wife of 29 years to the late Robert (Bob) Guerin.
Marilyn enjoyed working at TJMaxx in Worcester for many years. Previously, she was a school bus driver for the town of Holden. She took great pleasure in visiting lighthouses and taking road trips with Bob. They enjoyed taking their boat out on local lakes, and riding their bicycles around city parks.
Marilyn is survived by her children, Toni Gonyea and her partner, Willie Oliver of Rutland and Worcester, Peter Gonyea and his wife, Jennifer of Worcester, and Tracy Gonyea and her fiance, Tom Chivallatti of Rutland. She leaves her grandchildren, Devin Gonyea and his partner, Jojo Mendez, and Ty Gonyea all of Worcester. She leaves behind her great-grandson, Jeremy Gonyea, and a step-daughter, Linda Guerin.
The family wishes to thank the compassionate care provided to Marilyn by Jojo and Devin that allowed her to live comfortably in her own home.
A graveside service will be held at Lake Grove Cemetery in Holliston on Friday, March 11th at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marilyn’s name to the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden St., Worcester MA, 01606 or https://worcesterarl.org/donate Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston.
