Holliston-

Marie Francis Sweeney, 78, of Holliston, passed away Friday, December
12, 2014 at the Metrowest Medical Center in Natick. Born in Boston and
raised in Dorchester, she was the daughter of the late Marion
F.(Lyons) and Joseph E. Cadagan. She was the former wife of the late
Alfred W. Sweeney.

Marie was an executive administrator for the Telephone Pioneers of
America. She enjoyed landscaping and interior decorating.

She is survived by two daughters, Susan Fitzgerald of West Yarmouth,
Jacqueline Coolidge and her husband George of Holliston; a sister,
Carol Cadagan of Florida; 2 beloved grandchildren, Joseph and Julia,
as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. She is
predeceased by two siblings, Eileen Marie Burke and Joseph Cadagan.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th from 4-7p.m. at
the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St.

Thursday, December 18th at 9:00a.m. at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston.
