Holliston-

Maria Wolters, 98, of Holliston, passed away Monday, February 3, 2014 at the Metrowest Medical Center in Framingham. Born in Yugoslavia, she was the daughter of the late Maria (Schneider) Hogler and Franz Hogler. She was the wife of the late Wilhelm Wolters who passed in 1967.?Maria was the last survivor of six siblings.

She is survived by her son, William Wolters of Holliston and her grandchildren Kristen Mahoney of Holliston, Ray Wolters and his wife Michelle of CT, and Kara Wolters and her husband Sean Drinan of CT. She also leaves behind 5 great-grandchildren: Dylan, Melea, Sydney, Delaney and Lexi. She is predeceased by her son Rudi Wolters who passed away in 2008, her daughter in-law Florence “Elizabeth” (Volpi) Wolters who passed away in 2003, and her granddaughter Katie Wolters who passed away in 2005. Maria was a long time resident of Cole Court in Holliston.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 11th from 9:30-10:30a.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. At 11:00a.m. following the visitation, a funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston.
