I was very upset to hear that Peggy had passed away. For me, it was the loss of another very good, warm, and loving person. Her Son, and my Daughter went to school together at Holliston High, graduated the same year, and went to the Prom together. Peggy's son was so nice, polite, handsome and adorable, which tells me that Peggy did a great job as his Mother. It was also difficult to know that I had not seen her since she had become ill. We were told that she would get upset if people stayed too long to visit her, so I thought that it was probably best that I didn't visit. I still miss the times when we got together after Mass at St. Mary's Parish in Holliston. We would go out for coffee, and muffins or bagels and talk for an hour or more - about anything that came to mind. We were sort of two lonely people who just wanted a friend to talk to. Peggy was a member of our St. Mary's Parish Arise Group in Holliston. We met once a week to study and learn more about our Catholic Faith, and to have an interesting and lively discussion, and each one of us could share our own Faith Journeys. This was a warm and welcoming group, and we learned and laughed together. Peggy always had something wonderful to add to our little group. I know she will always be remembered and loved by all of us who attend St. Mary's. I will never forget Peggy. I know that she is very happy now in Heaven, and I hope that this will be a great comfort to her Family, and to all of her friends from St. Mary's. I miss you Peggy !
