Manuel R. Correia Jr. 83, of Framingham, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023. Born in Ponta Delgada, Sao Miguel, Azores, he was the son of the late DioLinda (Ruides) Rego and Manuel dos Santos Correia. Manny was a well-known Ballroom Dance instructor and choreographer, who taught for many years in the Greater Boston area and was a past president of the Dance Teachers Club of Boston. Manny was also a proud member of Old Guard New England Project whose mission is to locate, identify, and inter the unclaimed cremains of veterans through the joint efforts of private, state, and federal organizations, and to provide honor and respect to those who have served this country by securing a final resting place for these forgotten heroes.

Manuel is survived by his son, Anthony Correia (Lisa), and daughter, Susan McPherson (Billy); four grandchildren; his sisters, Dorothy Santos-Fita of the Philippines and Mary Conyers (James) of Bermuda. He also leaves behind his former wife, Frances Vultaggio Correia.
