So. Yarmouth – Lucy E. Coverly, 97, died Nov. 7, 2004 in Yarmouth.
Mrs. Coverly had been a resident of Holliston until 1999 when she moved to
So. Yarmouth to make her home with her son and daughter-in-law.
She was the wife of the late Arthur W. Coverly, Sr. who died in 1961.
Born in Mansfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late William E. and
Almena L. (Atkins) Ladd.
Mrs. Coverly was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her son, Arthur Coverly, Jr. and his wife Carol of So.
Yarmouth, daughters; Ann E. Eithier of So. Yarmouth, Grace Harakles of
Sanford, Maine, Estelle M. Gaudette of Pawtucket, RI and Gloria J. Meyer of
Sutton, NH, 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held on Monday, November 22 at 1:30 at the Chesmore
Funeral Home, 854 Washington St., Route 16, Holliston. Burial will follow
in Lake Grove Cemetery, Holliston.
