Loutfi Bishai, 91, of Holliston died Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at the Metrowest Medical Center in Natick. Born in Egypt, he was the son of the late Farida and Rizk Bishai. He was also the husband of late Rose (Zaboura) Bishai who died in September of 1999.
Mr. Bishai was a General in the Egyptian Police and was active with St. Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Church in Natick. He also enjoyed walking every day, and helping with the Quesna YMCA Children’s Center. He enjoyed reading and was a specialist at giving advice.
He is survived by 2 sons, Shoukry Ibrahim of Holliston, and Samir Risk of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. 1 daughter Alice Veinoglou of New Jersey, 1 brother Sami Bishai of Egypt, 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He is pre-deceased by 1 son, George Ibrahim who died in 2003.
Visitation hours will be on Thursday, September 7, 2006 from 6-8pm at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. (Rt. 16). His funeral will be held on Friday, September 8, at 12:00pm in St. Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Church in Natick. Burial will follow at St. Lazarus Cemetery in Charlton, MA. Donations may be made in his memory to St. Mark’s Coptic Orthodox Church, 145 Oak St. Natick, MA. 01760.
