HOLLISTON – Louise M. Moloney, 92, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006, at her home in Mission Springs in Holliston.
She was the wife of the late Raymond D. Moloney for more than 45 years.
Born in Framingham, daughter of the late Egbert and Mary (Sleeper) Merrill, she was a nine-year resident of Mission Springs in Holliston, formerly of Framingham.
Known to many as “the cookie lady,” she was very devoted to her family, especially grandchildren when they needed her help. She was a very religious woman who as a member of St. Stephen Church in Framingham and St. Mary Church in Holliston. She had a love for bingo and was a socializer at her Mission Springs residence.
She leaves three sons and their wives, Raymond and Carol Moloney and Tom and Barbara Moloney, all of Holliston, and Richard and Judy Moloney of Westborough; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Pinky Moloney.
A funeral Mass will be held Monday, Dec. 18, at 10 a.m., at St. Mary Church, Holliston.
Burial will follow in St. Stephen Cemetery in Framingham.
Visiting hours are Sunday, Dec. 17, from 2 to 5 p.m., at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St., Holliston.
