Holliston-

Louis R. Besozzi Jr. 81, of Holliston, passed away Monday, December 19, 2011 at the Kathleen Daniels House in Framingham. Born on Holliston, He was the son of the late Esther E.(Beltrame) and Louis R. Besozzi Sr. and was also the brother of the late Robert L. Besozzi. He was the husband of Mary T. (Bravo) Besozzi of Holliston.

Attending the Holliston Public Schools, Louis was an Army Veteran during the Korean War, and a volunteer firefighter for the town of Holliston. He was a life long truck driver and became a member of the Million Mile Club in 1985. He was a lifelong member of the Teamsters Local 170. Louis was also a member of the Mangia-Mangia Club in Milford for many years.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Edward C. Besozzi of West Peabody, Theresa M. Besozzi and her husband Edward Doucette of Milford, James P. Besozzi and his fiancee Elaine Nice of Blackstone, and Sandra J. Besozzi of Holliston and her partner Charles Driscoll. He also leaves behind a sister, Alice Pfeiffer of Holliston as well as many nieces and nephews in the Besozzi and Bravo families.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2011 from 4-7p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. (Rt.16). A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30a.m. on Friday at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holliston VFW, 310 Woodland St. Holliston, or Holliston Fire Department 59 Central St., or the Holliston Police Department 550 Washington St. Holliston, MA 01746
