Holliston-

Lorraine Bouthiller, 79, of Holliston, passed away December 29, 2016 at the Newton Wellesley Center for Alzheimer’s Care in Wellesley. Born in Barre, Vermont, she was the daughter of the late Margaret (Molleur) and Theodore Routhier who are both deceased.

Lorraine worked for many years as an office assistant for many businesses.  She loved to sew and lavished beautiful ceramic and multimedia craft items on her family and friends.  She made her own gift cards for many occasions. She continued her creative pursuits well into retirement.

She is survived by her daughter, Wanda French of North Charleston, SC; her son, Ted Bouthiller and his wife Valerie of Moncks Corner, SC.  She is also survived by her sister Helen Flis and her husband John of Colchester, CT, her sister Suzanne Sweeney and her husband Richard of Newburgh, NY, her sister Diane of Middletown, CT, and by her brother Emile and his wife Susan of Holliston, MA, and her brother Donald and his wife Nina of Ashburn, VA.  She is also leaves behind her grandson, Ted Bouthiller Jr. and a great-granddaughter, Charlotte, both of SC as well as many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother Theodore of Barre, VT.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 2nd at 11am at the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston, 854 Washington St. www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com Burial arrangements will be completed in the spring.
