Linda Marie Keelan, 68, of Ashland, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of Kathleen (Hayes) and John J. Mealey and step-daughter of James Hayes. She was the lifelong companion of the late Michael Keelan.

Linda’s professional journey began at Shawmut Bank and later continued at Invacare, where she formed lifelong friendships with coworkers and customers alike. Linda was a devoted friend, always ready to lend a listening ear, offer support, or share a laugh. Linda’s heart was full of love, especially for her beloved feline companions, Squeaky and Orange, who were her constant sources of comfort and joy.

Linda had a deep love for cats, dedicating both her time and resources to their care and well-being. She was a die-hard Aerosmith fan, and almost all of her stories revolved around the unforgettable concerts she attended back in the day in Boston. Linda had a true passion for cooking and enjoyed trying new recipes, often cooking for others and sharing her delicious creations. She loved spending time at the beach, soaking up the sun and enjoying the outdoors.

She loved working in her garden, finding joy in nurturing her plants and watching them grow.

Linda leaves behind a massive circle of friends, neighbors, and cousins, many of whom she spoke to daily. She also leaves behind the Clark family, her childhood neighbors who were like family to her, as well as the Stucchi and Ahronian families, who also held a special place in her heart. These families were an integral part of her life, providing love and support throughout her journey. Linda’s kindness, warmth, and unwavering loyalty will be missed by all.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 8th at 10:30 a.m. at Saint John’s Cemetery, 165 West St. Attleboro. A luncheon to follow at the Chateau in Norton from 12-4.  Arrangements are under the care of the Chesmore Funeral Home of Holliston. In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda’s memory may be made to Charles River Alleycats at www.charlesriveralleycats.org. In accordance with Linda’s wishes, this organization will be taking care of her beloved cats, ensuring they receive the love and support she always provided.
