Linda Ann (Deady) Dracoules,53, of Holliston, MA and formerly of Quincy, MA passed peacefully with her husband by her side on Wednesday, July 8, 2015. Linda was born in Quincy and was the beloved daughter of Alice (Rouleau) Deady and James J. Deady Jr. of Quincy. She was the devoted wife of Christopher P. Dracoules of Holliston, for 32 years.
Above all else, Linda was dedicated to her family. She always put others before herself and had a sense of adventure and loved spending time outdoors. Whether it was sitting by the pond in her backyard, spending time at the beach, or camping with her family, she always had a smile on her face. Her love for animals led her to help transport and place rescue dogs.
Linda had previously worked at the MetroWest Insurance Group, the MetroWest Wellness Center and the Holliston Animal Hospital. She was a volunteer for the Holliston Athletic Booster Association (HABA), a Girl Scout leader, and an enthusiastic hockey mom.
Linda is survived by her husband and parents as well as her children, Danielle Dracoules of Concord, NH, Christopher Dracoules and Matthew Dracoules, both of Holliston. She also leaves behind her sisters, Karin (Deady) Duggan and her husband Francis of South Glastonbury, CT, Ellen (Deady) Reardon and her husband Michael of Georgetown, MA, her Sister in Law, Connie (Dracoules) Donovan and her husband Bill Donovan of Abington, MA, as well as her nieces and nephews, Kerri, Kevin and Colleen Duggan, Michael and Abigail Reardon, and Suzanne and Laurie Donovan.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, July 12th from 3-6 p.m. at the Chesmore Funeral Home, 854 Washington St. Holliston, www.ChesmoreFuneralHome.com A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 13th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church of Holliston . Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Walk Against Breast Cancer online at hollistonwalks.org or checks made payable to Holliston Walks Against Breast Cancer, 72 Kim Place, Holliston, MA 01746.
