Hopkinton- Lillian H. McLeod, 84, of Hopkinton formerly of Acton, Maine died Friday May 7, 2004 at Westborough Healthcare Center. Born in Framingham she was the daughter of the late Frank L. Howard and Ernestine (Richardson) Howard. Lillian was married 50 years to her late husband Donald W. McLeod who passed away in 1992

She was a member of the Woodville Baptist church of Hopkinton, MA and a former active member of the United Church of Christ in Acton, Maine. She was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W. since 1946 where she was a past president of Natick, Ashland, and past District 4 president. Lillian enjoyed Cards, Bingo, and going to the casino. Devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grand mother

She is survived by 2 sons; Donald W. McLeod and his wife Sandy of Shapleigh, Maine and Fred McLeod also of Shapleigh, Maine. She is predeceased by her daughter Linda A. Wetherby. She also leaves her son in law Roy Wetherby and his current wife Sandra of Milford, MA. Brothers Ernest M. Howard of Ashland, MA and Thomas E. Howard of Bellview, Fl. 10 Grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren

The funeral service with Rev. Mark High from the Woodville Baptist Church will be held on Tuesday, May 11 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chesmore Funeral Home, 57 Hayden Rowe St., Hopkinton, MA. www.chesmorefuneralhome.com.
